We are living in a world that has thrown truth to the ground as it calls evil good and good evil. To be a true follower of Christ, you must understand that there is no room for compromise. Of course the liberal thinkers insist that you accept deception or be labeled intolerant. It seems that everyone has a take on what God will accept as good. It does not matter to them if it contradicts the very word of God that Christ died to give us. No one wants to hear the truth anymore so they go to the people and places that agree with their own agenda and shockingly demand that even God must conform to it.
There is coming a time of judgment. A.W. Tozer is one of my favorite preachers of old. He never compromised a word of Scripture. And to walk in righteousness and truth, neither should any of us. MB

Compromise is costly by A.W. Tozer. Posted from Standing For God
Pray . . . that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. John 17:15
Christianity today is so entangled with this present world that millions never guess how radically they have missed the New Testament pattern. Compromise is everywhere, but, actually, no real union between the world and the Church is possible. When the Church joins up with the world, it is the true Church no longer but only a pitiful hybrid thing but an object of smiling contempt to the world and an abomination to the Lord! Nothing could be clearer than the pronouncements of the Scriptures on the Christian’s relation to the world. The confusion that gathers around this matter results from the unwillingness of professing Christians to take the Word of the Lord seriously. This whole thing is spiritual in its essence. A Christian is what he is not by ecclesiastical manipulation but by the new birth. He is a Christian because of a Spirit, which dwells in him. Only that which is born by the Spirit is spirit, no matter how many church dignitaries work on it!

I seek first the kingdom of Christ because everything else in this world is perishing. All that I have is from God who is always faithful. I have worked hard all my life and will continue as long as God lends me breath. The mistakes and bad judgments I made in my life all stemmed from me trying to work things out by myself. I have learned the hard way that the victory over all of my problems and the answers to all of my desires lie solely in my Savior, Jesus Christ.
It is now my desire to share the words that God gives me to encourage and give hope to others who need the strength that only faith in Christ can give.
